The Idea

The idea is to provide a webpage or pages for each town and city in the United Kingdom, somewhere for residents of the town or visitors to find good useful information. Good useful information is available on such as wikipedia which is great for research, we want to create pages that are worthy of bookmarking and returning to visit regularly. Pages that town residents and interact with even contribute to.

Where before What

There are many websites and directories that are focussed on "WHAT" and then they ask "WHERE"

Example What = Plumber then Where = say York and you are presented with a list of Plumbers starting with the ones in York and radiating out. We have turned that on its head and say "WHERE" and you are presented with information on for example "York"

Navigation

As a consequence of focusing on "where" our navigation is designed rather like a road map and the visitor can hop from one town to the next using signposts

Business Listings

Often visitors are looking for local business and for that reason we will have a section for local business in that town.

Wouldn't it be nice just to have a page for your town that wasn't riddled with advertisements and actually was a useful place to visit?
